To commemorate the man behind the name, we have commissioned the hugely talented artist and illustrator Tim Godden to create a unique and impression of Stanley Biggs as he would have been during the Battle of Arnhem in September 1944.
Stanley was a Private in the Royal Army Medical Corps, 181 (Airlanding) Field Ambulance during the Battle of Arnhem.
He landed by glider on the 17th September and died on 25th September.
Every detail has been taken into account to ensure a detailed and pertinant impression of Stanley; from his uniform to the background location. Every detail tells a part of Stanley's story.
Forty-Five Limited Edition A5 Prints, signed and numbered by the Artist, have been created and are available to purchase from our store.
With every sale, a £5.00 donation will be made to the Commonwealth War Graves Commission Foundation.
